Before and during Trump’s presidency, Trump constantly boasted something like: I know the best people. The best people want to work for me. I hire the best people. We don't want people who are B-level, C-level, D-level, because we have to get our absolute best and our smartest. We're not going to use political hacks anymore. It's a sophisticated chess match. I have the best people lined up, people who are truly, truly capable. My job candidate or staff member has an impressive track record, is a tremendous professional, is a proven leader, delivers major results, etc. I will drain the swamp (i.e., deep state occupying Washington, DC). Drain the swamp!
In reality, Trump had been bipolar when dealing with people, and his presidential staff and campaign staff were filled with swamp creatures, because he was impulsive, narcissistic, a habitual liar, and a spoiled rotten con-artist.
Before his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump praised Hillary Clinton’s political career. During a 2007 interview by CNN, Trump said, “Hillary Clinton I think is a terrific woman. I am biased because I have known her for years. I live in New York. She lives in New York. I really like her and her husband both a lot. I think she really works hard. And I think, again, she's given an agenda, it is not all of her, but I think she really works hard and I think she does a good job. I like her.” In 2008, Trump went on his own radio show called “Trumped!,” talked about the 2008 Democratic convention for the presidency, and said, “I know her [Hillary Clinton] and she'd make a good president or good vice president.” During his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump accused the Clinton family of being corrupt, a part of the loser status quo, involved with secret pedophile networks, mentally and physically unfit for office, a crooked criminal who should be in prison, and other rebukes. As the president, Trump decided Hillary Clinton was old news and not worth focusing on.
As the president, Trump had a fast turnover rate for his White House's upper-ranking staff, which was infested with nepotism, cronyism, and Zionist Christian/Jewish war criminals like the bloody idiot Elliott Abrams of nonstop regime changes for corporate profiteers, John "the dolt" Bolton of the Zionist cult, Larry "cokehead" Kudlow (Zio-Jew/Christian) the cuckoo businessman/wannabe-investor and lousy ex-husband of 3 marriages, and Peter “out” Navarro the bizarro economist (who also had a history disastrous predictions). The Trump presidency also struggled to fill lots of Executive Branch upper-ranking positions, thus, lots of White House positions were empty, filled by Obama leftovers, and occupied by "acting" (ie, temporary) workers.
Trump had a bad habit of praising his potential or newly hired subordinates, and then forcing them into resignation or firing them, while insulting them as pathetic dogs, idiots, liars, losers, too boring, too average, victims of unfortunate circumstances, desperate job-seekers, and other hypocritical mockery.
According to a Brookings report by Kathryn Dunn Tenpas on 2020 June, 88% of the top-ranking positions under the Trump White House had suffered at least 1 turnover. This hiring and firing rate was a historical high.
From 2016 Nov to 2017 July, Reince Priebus was Trump’s first Secretary of Staff. In 2017 July, Trump used Twitter to announce retired General and former head of the Department of Homeland Security John Kelly as his new Chief of Staff. Trump gave his typically tacky praises for John Kelly: “He is a Great American. . . . ” Trump said Chief of Staff John Kelly was doing an incredible job, and that Trump “could not be happier or more impressed” with John Kelly’s job.
In 2018, news reported that Trump’s Chief of Staff John Kelly told other White House subordinates that Trump was an idiot. Also in 2018, during a public discussion, Kelly said his job with Trump was God’s punishment for an unspecified sin. Amid media rumors of bad working relations between Trump and Kelly, Trump boasted John Kelly loved his White House job, and John Kelly would work for the Trump presidency for 8 years. John Kelly also insisted he had a good working relationship with Trump. In reality, John Kelly left President Trump after 2 years.
On 2020 Feb 13, Trump used Twitter to ridicule John Kelly: “When I terminated John Kelly, which I couldn’t do fast enough, he . . . was way over his head. . . . but like so many X’s, he misses the action & just can’t keep his mouth shut,. [sic]”
2020 Oct 16 Fri: Various news sources claimed that Trump’s former chief-of-staff of ~2 years and retired general John Kelly told friends, “The depths of his [Trump’s] dishonesty is just astounding to me. The dishonesty, the transactional nature of every relationship though it’s more pathetic than anything else. He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life.”
My super-mutant telepathy calculated Trump's rebuttal to John Kelly's criticism against Trump: “John Kelly barely knew me the billionaire president. He is just a disgruntled worker who couldn't handle his job, which was actually very easy and of no importance, but a big dumb-dumb like John Kelly was fired by yours truly, me, myself, and I, cuz he was not good enough for Making America Great Again. He is really a Democrat RINO and a Clinton loyalist. Sad! John Kelly was an overrated general who supported failing wars like POW McCain. Abraham Lincoln, possibly the greatest president (like me), had to demote, lay off, & fire lots of generals to win the Revolutionary War against Chicom slave labor. I must get rid of lots of deep state agents to drain the swamp! Keep America Great! Vote Trump 2020!”
On 2018 Dec 14 Fri, President Trump hired Mick Mulvaney as his new Chief of Staff. Mick Mulvaney’s previous jobs involved financial management under the Trump presidency. During the 2016 presidential election, Mick Mulvaney was very critical of Trump and described Trump as terribly unqualified for the presidency. Mick Mulvaney had a long career as a politician and bureaucrat. As Trump’s Chief of Staff, Mick Mulvaney slavishly followed Trump’s egotistical leadership.
On 2020 Mar 6 Fri, Trump used his Twitter account to reveal Mick Mulvaney would be replaced by Mark Meadows as the Chief of Staff, and Mick Mulvaney would take a new job as the Special Envoy for Northern Ireland. Mark Meadows’ previous careers was in business, as a political manager for the Republican Party, and a Congressman. Toward the end of 2020 March, Mark Meadows became the new Chief of Staff who defended and glamorized Trump’s mismanagement of various issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Eventually, Mark Meadows was infected by the COVID-19 virus, but he was asymptomatic or had very mild symptoms. He tried to keep his infection a secret, which was irresponsible toward his coworkers and anyone near him.
In 2016 Nov to Dec, Trump made the decision to hire James/Jim Mattis as his Secretary of Defense, and that came with Trump’s usual, phony praises: “one of our great great generals . . . we are going to appoint Mad Dog Mattis as our Secretary of Defense. . . . ” Trump also said, “All I can say is he [Mattis] is the real deal. The real deal,” and “just a brilliant, wonderful man.”
2020 June 3 Wed: Trump tweeted about “Mad Dog” Jim Mattis (retired general and Trump’s former defense secretary) as, “the world’s most overrated General. I asked for his letter of resignation, & felt great about it. . . . ”
2019 June 18 Tue: Trump declared Mark Esper as his next Defense Secretary. Before, Mark Esper worked as a soldier in the US Army, as various bureaucrats for the Republican Party, as a member of various special interest groups or so-called think tanks, and as a corporate lobbyist (for the military industrial complex).
2020 Nov 9 Mon: Trump used his Twitter account to reveal the firing of Mark Esper as his Defense Secretary. According to various news, Trump disliked Mark Esper’s handling of the widespread race riots regarding black people being seriously injured or killed by police violence. Trump wanted to use military force to crush the race riots, but Mark Esper wanted less violent solutions. It was rare for a high ranking secretary of the White House to lose his job during the last few months of a president. The new Defense Secretary was Christopher C. Miller, but he was an acting secretary to avoid the process of Senate examination and approval or disapproval.
Christopher C. Miller had a long career in the US Army, then he worked as a civilian for military-related companies, then he worked as a national security adviser for Trump’s White House, and then he became Trump’s Defense Secretary.
2020 Nov 23 Mon: retired General and former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis wrote an opinion article with other authors for the Foreign Affairs website. The opinion article said Trump’s idea of America first actually resulted in “America alone,” but America was much better off with a network of allies around the world. On Nov 24 Tue 5:29 am, Trump released a Twitter tweet: “That says it all about Mattis. Obama fired him. I should have fired him sooner. Did best work after he was gone. World's most overrated general!”
2020 June 4 Thu: Multiple retired US generals criticized Trump for his clumsy, brutish, and dishonest handling of the protests, riots, and looting motivated by police brutality and legal double-standards against black people. As expected, Trump hurled insults at his critics, some of whom were former members of Trump’s White House. For example, Trumpt tweeted, “John Kelly [retired general and his former chief of staff] didn’t know I was going to fire James Mattis [retired general and his former defense secretary], nor did he have knowledge of my asking for a letter of resignation. Why would I tell him, he was not…” Trump continued with a second tweet, “…in my inner-circle, was totally exhausted by the job, and in the end just slinked away into obscurity. They all want to come back for a piece of the limelight.” Translation for Trump: James Mattis was a nobody in the White House. He was merely the secretary of the fence in some obscure location. John Kelly was another loser who was the secretary of stuff nobody cared about. They were not good enough for me, because I only hire the best and only the best beg me for jobs.
Trump went through multiple press secretaries and communications directors (from first to last): Sean Spicer, Jason Miller (who had a history of cheating on his wife, using various prostitution services, and engaging in various lies), Anthony Scaramucci (who only lasted for 11 days, which was a record brevity), Sarah Sanders, Stephanie Grisham (who possibly had an addiction to alcohol and drugs), and Kayleigh McEnany. All of them peddled the nonstop lies of Trump.
In 2016 December, Trump decided that Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson would be his first Secretary of State. Trump praised Tillerson by stating, "He's a world-class player. He's in charge of an oil company that's pretty much double the size of its next nearest competitor." Trump boasted of how Tillerson has made "massive deals" in Russia. On 2017 Feb 2, Trump tweeted, "Congratulations to Rex Tillerson on being sworn in as our new Secretary of State. He will be a star!"
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson tried to negotiate a peace deal with North Korea. On 2017 Oct 1, Trump tweeted, "I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man..." Then Tillerson allegedly said Trump was a "fucking moron". Trump insisted he would beat Tillerson in an IQ test. Tillerson also criticized Trump for having sloppy preparation or lousy organization.
Trump tried to intimidate North Korea by creating multiple red lines and said various threats about fire and fury like no one has ever seen before, but North Korea continued to conduct tests related to missiles and nuclear warheads. Trump repeatedly made immature insults about North Korea's top leader Kim Jong Un. China and Russia said they would defend North Korea if North Korea was attacked. Kim Jong Un famously ridiculed Trump for being a "mentally deranged U.S. dotard". Then South Korea's president used the Winter Olympics to promote friendship between South Korea and North Korea.
In 2018 March, Trump fired Tillerson, because Tillerson criticized Trump's incompetence. Trump immedately hired the CIA Director Mike Pompeo as the new Secretary of State. On 2018 June at Singapore, Trump decided to hold peace meetings with Kim Jong Un, which was the first meeting between a US president and North Korea's top leader, even though President Obama and President Clinton tried to do the same thing, but they were criticized by the Republican Party for being naive and traitors, thus, they cancelled such meetings. Then Trump repeatedly said he had a great friendship with Kim Jong Un. Then Trump and Kim stopped insulting and threatening each other.
On 2019 May 23, Trump tweeted: “Rex Tillerson, a man who is ‘dumb as a rock’ and totally ill prepared and ill equipped to be Secretary of State. . . . ” Trump's tweet was a response to the fired Rex Tillerson who made additional criticisms about Trump's incompetence.
Trump’s many lawyers, presidential campaign workers, White House candidates, and White House staff have been reported, indicted, and/or convicted by the FBI, police, and court-of-law of being guilty of various types of financial fraud, obstruction of justice, business scams, bribery, and/or assault. Before the indictments and convictions, Trump praised his subordinates. After the indictments and convictions, Trump pretended to have minimal to zero connections to these people. Some examples of these “best” people: Rick Gates, George Papadopoulos, Alex van der Zwaan, Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, Stephen M. Calk, and Vincent Viola.
Initially, Trump said his lawyer Michael Cohen was a great lawyer, an expert of the law, and the reliable lawyer who dealt with the fake news about Trump's affair with porn actress Stormy Daniels. Cohen also believed he would be protected by Trump's presidential pardon, and Trump's lawyers indicated this pardon to Cohen. However, Cohen came under increasing investigative pressure by the Democrat Party, and the Trump administration refused to pardon Cohen. Then Cohen testified against Trump's various fraudulent schemes: paid hush money to Trump's mistresses/prostitutes/porn-actresses, underpaid press relations companies that cheated polls and created fake Internet profiles that favored Trump and Cohen, etc. Then Trump said he barely worked with Cohen, Cohen was a liar who is involved in a deep state conspiracy to embarrass the President of the United States of America, Cohen comes from a corrupt family that should be investigated by the law (this accusation could be considered witness tampering), and Cohen dealt with public relations not the law.
Campaign Trump said he would get rid of lobbyists who have corrupted America's government with insider deals and revolving doors between corporations and government branches. President Trump actually hired lots of lobbyists. A miniscule sample of a very tiny fraction of the examples include (but are not limited to): Mark Esper (chief lobbyist for Raytheon military corporation), Colin Roskey (lobbyist for health-care companies), Geoffrey Burr (dealt with transportation), Michael Catanzaro (represented oil & coal companies), Eugene Scalia (son of late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, & lobbyist for corporate upper-management and against regular workers' rights), and Robert Lighthizer (lobbyist for steel companies). During his first three years in the White House, Trump had accepted 281 lobbyists into the Executive branch, and this number is multiple times higher than Obama's acceptance rate of lobbyists over 8 years.
Trump's picks for the White House's upper-ranking staff had a history of spousal abuse, lying about spousal abuse, obstruction of justice, going through multiple divorces and lousy dating relationships, dishonestly boasting of being supporters of or role models for superior Zionist Christian values around the globe, incompetence and corruption in their professions, financial fraud, etc. Some examples: Steve Banon, Rob Porter, Patrick Shanahan, and Andrew Puzder.
Alexander Acosta was a government lawyer who protected Jeffrey Epstein (a Zionist Jew, a millionaire who pretends to be a billionaire, a pimp for adult whores, and a pedophile mastermind of teenage girls).
Mark Green withdrew from a top-ranking White House job, because he was outed as a Zionist Christian extremist who believes in creationism and wants to wage a crusade throughout the Middle East and elsewhere.
President Trump fired his secretary Madeleine Westerhout, because she talked to journalists about Trump's family in a slightly critical way. She started working for Trump at the start of his presidency. He quickly fired her, but said she was still a good person.
From 2018 to 2019, John Bolton (the warmongering Zionist dolt) served as Trump’s National Security Advisers. John Bolton said he resigned on his own decision, but Trump insisted he laid off John Bolton and forced John Bolton to resign. A couple of months later, John Bolton revealed he was writing a book about Trump’s stupidity and dishonesty, and Trump tried to censor some parts of the book due to national security or government secrecy concerns.
On 2020 Jan 29 Wed 4:28 AM, Trump tweeted, “For a guy who couldn’t get approved for the Ambassador to the U.N. years ago, couldn’t get approved for anything since, ‘begged’ me for a non Senate approved job, which I gave him despite many saying ‘Don’t do it, sir,’ takes the job, mistakenly says ‘Libyan Model’ on T.V., and..,” and Trump continued the tweet, “....many more mistakes of judgement, gets fired because frankly, if I listened to him, we would be in World War Six by now, and goes out and IMMEDIATELY writes a nasty & untrue book. All Classified National Security. Who would do this?”
What about a team consisting of the best people? How did we possibly go from World War 1 (1914 to 1918) World War 2 (1939 to 1945) to World War 3, 4, 5, and 6 within 1 year? Trump continued his bad habit of hiring spectacular people who ended up as desperate losers. Trump justified this by claiming he got information and/or was advised NOT to hire these overrated buffoons, but the know-it-all, super-successful Trump (who was in his early seventies) hired them anyway.
2020 June 16 Tue: President Trump initiated legal action to stop the publication of John Bolton’s book, because Donald Trump's con-artist schemes and buffoonery (e.g., conspiring with Ukrainian gov’t officials to take down Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign) were federal secrets of the highest importance for national security. In other words, Trump accused Bolton of leaking federally classified secrets in Bolton’s book.
On 2020 June 18 Thu, Trump used his Twitter account to complain about Bolton’s book: “book is made up of lies & fake stories. . . . pure fiction. Just trying to get even for firing him like the sick puppy he is.” So which part of Bolton’s book were lies, and which parts were classified factual secrets? Trump had a long-standing moral code of opposing critical leaks, like what happened to the email records of Hillary Clinton and other Democrat members (sarcasm for the dunces here). Trump knew the be best. Trump hired the is best. The bester of the bestest begged him for amazing jobs. That was why Trump hired and fired John Bolton (the dolt of the Zionist cult) and other people at a record rate of awfulness.
Meanwhile, Ivanka complained about cancel culture or the suppression of free speech by the Democrat Party and its partners, while the Trump presidency suppressed and insulted critical or independent journalists, blocked investigations about Trump’s incompetent business scams + clumsy political trickery + personal failures, tried to punish businesses and black pro-athletes who disagreed against his opinions, etc.
2020 June 17 Wed: Through the Twitter social-media website, independent journalist Max Blumenthal tweeted about how John Bolton was “a notoriously mendacious enemy of all living beings on the planet,” and how Bolton and his book was being used by desperate liberals/Democrats to criticize Trump. On Thursday, Max Blumenthal’s tweet was soon retweeted by Trump. Then Max Blumenthal decided to troll Trump by changing Max Blumenthal’s Twitter nickname to: “Prosecute Pompeo at ICC,” “Free Gaza Fire Jared,” “US sanctions kill kids,” “Defund The Police,” and a few more anti-imperialism messages. All of this was recorded by Trump’s Twitter account’s public timeline. Max Blumenthal also wrote a tweet that ridiculed Trump’s brain of “80% bong water” for politically campaigning against more wars, then winning the presidency, and then hiring Bolton the war monger, “Genocide Abrams, Jabba Pompeo & every FDD Likudnik that Uncle Sheldon orders you to appoint. Trump drowned in the swamp.” Approximately 8 hours later, Trump regretted and canceled his retweet of Max Blumenthal’s first tweet.
2020 June 20 Sat: Trump went on the Twitter website to make 2 tweets: “Wow, I finally agree with failed political consultant Steve Schmidt, who called Wacko John Bolton ‘a despicable man who failed in his duty to protect America.’ . . . ” Trump continued about Bolton: “who was all washed up until I brought him back and gave him a chance, broke the law by releasing Classified Information (in massive amounts). . . . This should never to happen again!”
2020 June 15 Mon to 17 Wed: On Monday, the Voice of America (VOA, a federal news agency) had multiple directors who resigned, because Trump hired Michael Pack, who was an ally of Bannon and looked like The Simpson’s Mr. Burns but with more hair and prescription glasses, to lead the US Agency for Global Media, which was the federal agency that was supposed to distantly manage federal news agencies such as the VOA. On Wednesday, Trump fired a bunch of managers for other federal news agencies such as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Middle East Broadcasting, Radio Free Asia, and the Open Technology Fund. The Trump presidency accused the resigned directors and fired managers (some of whom were hired by President Trump) of spreading anti-Trump propaganda and propaganda in favor of America’s enemies and competitors. As expected, Ivanka did not complain about her father’s cancel culture.
Jeff Sessions (who looked like a Keebler elf) was an early supporter of Trump’s presidential campaign, and Trump praised Jeff Sessions as “a world-class legal mind and considered a truly great Attorney General and US Attorney in the state of Alabama.” President Trump immediately hired Jeff Sessions to be his Attorney General. When President Trump was being investigated for secretive and public ties to Russia and Russia’s alleged election interference in America, Jeff Sessions recused himself from the investigation. On 2017 July 19, Trump replied, “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else.” Trump wanted Jeff Sessions to manipulate the investigation in the favor of Trump, thus, Trump became very disappointed with Jeff Sessions. Trump wanted to fire Jeff Sessions, but Congress warned Trump not to, because that would indicate Trump was trying to cheat the legal system.
On 2018 November 6, America finished its mid-term elections with the Democrat Party winning a small majority in the House of Representatives and winning more gubernatorial elections, but the GOP still had more governors and retained a small majority in the Senate. The Democrat Party had far more seats for election than the GOP had, but the Democrat Party did a lot better than Trump’s prediction, and the Democrat Party won record high turnouts. Soon after the mid-term elections, Trump (falsely) boasted the election results were good for him. Before the mid-term elections, the House of Representatives had 194 seats controlled by the Democrats and 241 seats controlled by the GOP. After the mid-term elections, the Democrats controlled 235 seats in the House of Representatives to the GOP’s 199 seats. Before the mid-term elections, the Senate had 51 seats controlled by the GOP and 47 seats controlled by the Democrats. After the mid-term elections, the GOP controlled 53 seats and the Democrats controlled 45 seats. Before the mid-term elections, the GOP controlled 33 governorships to the Democrat’s 16. After the mid-term elections, the GOP controlled 27 governorships to the Democrat’s 23.
On November 7, 2018, Sessions resigned under pressure by Trump, but Trump continued to criticize and ridicule Jeff Sessions. On 2020 May 22 Fri during an interview by Sharyl Attkisson, Trump said Jeff Sessions was “not mentally qualified to be attorney general”.
2018 Dec 7 Fri: President Trump revealed William Barr would be his next Attorney General. Before, William Barr had a long career as a civilian lawyer then as a government lawyer.
In 2019 July, the U.K’s ambassador to the U.S., Kim Darroch, resigned, because President Trump refused to work with him. What happened was a British newspaper leaked private assessments made by Kim Darroch about the White House under Trump, and he basically wrote the Trump presidency was "uniquely dysfunctional," "inept," struggling with internal disputes, and in denial about their disgraceful operations. Kim Darroch said Trump required a simple, blunt communication style. Kim Darroch had over 40 years of experience in politics.
Then Trump tweeted that he would no longer work with Kim Darroch, because Kim Darroch was "wacky . . . a very stupid guy. . . . " Then Kim Darroch resigned to restore the special alliance between the US and UK. In other words, Trump strongly believed he had the exclusive right to suppress, criticize, and ridicule other people, and everyone else must gleefully kiss his big fat butt. In addition, Trump and supporters liked to hypocritically accuse their critics of being snowflakes, politically correct NPCs (non-playable characters), and other hypocritical accusations.
In 2020 January 21 Tue, Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker’s book, “A Very Stable Genius” was published. The authors claimed they interviewed well over 100 people who have worked with Trump, and these anonymous sources essentially said Trump was a(n) pathological liar, narcissist, proud moron, con-artist, immature old-geezer, and other criticisms.
In 2020 April 3 Fri, Trump fired Michael Atkinson, who was the inspector general of the intelligence community. Michael Atkinson was a key investigator of the whistleblower complaint that was related to Trump conspiring with his American subordinates and certain people in Ukraine to find dirt about Joe Biden, who supported the chaotic regime change in Ukraine during the Obama presidency and who was Trump’s opponent for the 2020 presidential election.
In 2020 April 6 Mon, Trump fired Glenn Fine, who was the inspector general of the defense department. He was supposed to ensure the COVID-19 economic stimulus was properly allocated, but his job was unnecessary according to Trump.
In 2020 May 1 Fri, Trump fired Christi Grimm, who was the inspector general of health and human services. She revealed that many hospitals across America had major shortages in COVID-19 tests, PPE (personal protection equipment), and other medical supplies. Trump insisted his leadership over COVID-19 was amazing and the best in the world.
In 2020 May 15 Fri, Trump fired Steve Linick, who was an inspector general of the state department. Trump said this firing was a recommendation of his State Secretary Mike Pompeo, but Trump did not know the reason for this firing. Before Steve Linick was fired, he was investigating Mike Pompeo for embezzlement or the improper usage of government funds for personal purposes and hosting events for the Republican Party.
During 2020 May, Trump used his presidential powers to engage in (even more) petty politics. Trump wanted the US Justice Department to drop charges and lessen penalties against retired General Michael Flynn, and this was justified, because Michael Flynn was actually innocent and a victim of political infighting between the Democrat Party and Republican Party. On Nov 25 Wed, Trump finally pardoned Flynn. Trump supported the temporary early release of Paul Manafort from prison and into house arrest (for the purpose of minimizing COVID-19 infections in prison), but Trump kept Michael Cohen in prison even though Michael Cohen should have been sent into house arrest in early May. This double standard was due to the fact that, when the 2 men were under various government investigations, Manafort stayed loyal to Trump, but Cohen turned against Trump. However, in May 21 Thu, Michael Cohen was finally released into house arrest, and his delayed release was unexplained. Trump tried to persuade the US Post Service to increase its shipping fees for Amazon.com, because Amazon.com was found by its CEO and president Jeff Bezos, who also owned the Washington Post, which sold pro-Democrat news and anti-Republican news.
2020 July 10 Fri: Trump announced that he commuted the prison sentence for Roger Stone, who was being punished for being a middle man for collusion between Trump’s team, WikiLeaks (a foreign news organization), and entities in eastern Europe and Russia. Roger Stone was also guilty of witness tampering. Roger Stone also conspired with Israelis to influence the 2016 elections in America, but this conspiracy was acceptable and ignored by the US legal system, major corporations, and establishment politics. These accusations were proven by Roger Stone’s and other people’s electronic records. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Roger Stone was allowed to leave his low-security prison and stay under house arrest. Of course, Trump insisted this collusion was a hoax or slander created by the Democrat Party.
The US Constitution gave the president the power of reprieve and/or pardon for federal crimes, but the reprieve and pardon did not extend into impeachment cases and state crimes. Reprieve meant a punishment was delayed. Pardon meant the criminal accusations or convictions against a person were canceled. Commutation meant a criminal’s punishment was decreased or made less punishing.
