2020 August 2 Sun: The Democrat Party and Republican Party continued to bicker and squabble over the next economic stimulus for the COVID-19 quarantine. Meanwhile, Trump wanted $377 million to renovate and modernize the West Wing of the White House. This modern renovation was postponed by past presidents, because the construction project would be extensive and should force the president to temporarily work elsewhere for at least a couple of months.
2020 Aug 3 Mon: Trump boasted the US was “doing very well” in minimizing COVID-19, but a White House medical adviser Dr. Deborah Birx disagreed. She said COVID-19 infections were still a major problem, because the nationwide data showed most states still had high rates of COVID-19 infections and deaths. Then Trump accused Dr. Birx of being “Pathetic!” for disagreeing against him, and for reinforcing the Democrat Party’s criticisms of Trump’s mismanagement of COVID-19.
Also on Monday, HBO released an interview of Donald Trump by Axios reporter Jonathan Swan. During this interview, Trump insisted his leadership had COVID-19 under great control, even though lots of global comparison data showed America was struggling to contain COVID-19, and this was also true when the data was adjusted for population size and/or national wealth. Regarding America’s COVID-19 death rates, Trump remarked, “They are dying. That's true. And you have --- it is what it is, but that doesn't mean we aren't doing everything we can. It's under control as much as you can control it. This is a horrible plague.” Trump also blamed many governors for doing a lousy to mediocre job, even though (according to Trump’s lies) the federal government did a great job of providing all necessary support to state governments.
2020 Aug 5 Wed: Across America, people (especially younger people) continued to hold house parties, which facilitated COVID-19 infections. Wealthier people held parties at mansions, on private beaches, and in yachts. In America and western to northern Europe, a few cruise ships (e.g., UnCruise Adventures' Wilderness Adventurer ship) tried to restart operations, but COVID-19 infections in the cruise liners quickly ended the vacation trips. In various parts of America, many schools continued their reopening plans under Trump’s insistence and threat of penalties (e.g., cutting off federal support for state education systems), even though the schools were crowded, and online lessons were available.
A better solution would be a partial reopening of schools. For example, only one-third of students went to the school once every 3 days, and the other students did the same with an alternating pattern. Most lessons should be online.
2020 Aug 6 Thu: During a Fox and Friends TV show interview, Trump (incorrectly) said: “If you look at children, children are almost, I would almost say definitely, but almost immune from this disease. So few. Hard to believe. I don’t know how you feel about it but they have much stronger immune systems than we do somehow for this. They don’t have a problem.” Trump and Trump’s campaign tried to promote this video interview on Facebook and Twitter, but Facebook and Twitter censored these promotions, because the promotions contained incorrect and harmful medical information.
2020 Aug 7 Fri: At Bedminster, New Jersey, Trump suddenly held a news conference inside his golf club. The news conference was not on Trump’s 4-day weekend schedule (from Thursday to Sunday), and the news conference was set up less than 1 hour before it began. He invited his golf club members into one side of the news conference, where the members ignored social distancing and did NOT bring their own masks, thus, they were given masks by White House staff members, but a minority refused to wear the masks. Their temperatures were taken.
The members booed the mainstream media’s journalists and cheered for Trump. Trump insisted the members had the legal right to peacefully protest and hold a political activity inside his golf club during his news conference, despite the fact that Trump criticized, ridiculed, suppressed, and kept far away independent protesters and opposition protesters. In other words, the obese, fragile egomania of Captain Bone Spur repeatedly needed the close support of his sycophants. Trump focused his 4-day weekend on campaigning for the 2020 elections.
2020 Aug 9 Sun: At Alameda County, California, the county’s Board of Supervisors decided to test out a $10 million plan to give $1,250 to a person who tested positive for COVID-19 and was NOT receiving unemployment or sick leave payments. This test plan was designed to help "people who are paid under the table" and "undocumented workers" (according to official government reports). Many COVID-19 infected people still went to work, because they needed the money for food, rent, medical bills, and other expenses.
This test plan could end up rewarding people to get COVID-19. In addition, a better solution would be for the county government to directly pay for rent plus medical bills and to provide some money for food and other necessities. This better solution could create less opportunities for fraud and irresponsibility.
2020 Aug 10 Mon: During a White House press conference, Trump talked about COVID-19 by stating, “Nobody understood it [COVID-19], because nobody’s ever seen anything like this. The closest thing in 1917 they say, right, uh-buh, the great, the great pandemic as certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people. Probably ended the second world war. All the soldiers were sick. Uuhhh, that was a that was a terrible situation.” According to factual history, the great flu pandemic took place in 1918 and lasted for approximately 1 year. World War 2 ended in 1945 due to the combined efforts of the Allies faction (chiefly the USA, USSR, France, Britain, and China) plus their international trade partners (primarily led by the USA).
2020 Aug 13 Thu: The White House and the Congressional Republicans refused to quickly work with the Congressional Democrats to develop another economic stimulus bill during the COVID-19 pandemic. The White House economic adviser Steve Mnuchin said the Democrat Party wanted too much money, and the Democrat Party said the White House and GOP provided too little money.
2020 Aug 21 Fri: More news was released about how the United Kingdom’s medical system greatly exaggerated its rate of COVID-19 infections and deaths. Back in July, UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock admitted that if a person died with a COVID-19 infection, then the cause of death was listed as COVID-19, even if the actual cause of death or primary cause of death was NOT due to COVID-19. In addition, if a person recovered from COVID-19, and then died later on due to something else (vehicle accident), then the person’s cause of death was listed as COVID-19. On Aug 21 Fri, the British mainstream news called The Telegraph (www.telegraph.co.uk) also said UK hospitals assumed many patients were still suffering from COVID-19 even if their COVID-19 fully healed and they were suffering from another illness, this assumption lacked good evidence, or this assumption was later proven false.
2020 Aug 26 Wed: News revealed that the Trump presidency instructed the CDC to create new rules on testing for COVID-19 infections by ignoring people who did NOT display symptoms. In other words, people who were not infected by COVID-19, people with asymptomatic infections, and people with very mild infections would NOT be counted in COVID-19 infection rates.
News from Overdrive said that the COVID-19 quarantine in America caused a huge loss of income for many Americans, which caused an increase in thievery that targeted cargo trucks and trains. The cargo theft increased 56% when comparing 2019 second quarter to 2020 second quarter. According to SensiGuard, insurance companies, and law enforcement, they recorded 227 thefts over these three months: 96 thefts in April, 67 in May, and 64 in June. The average thievery was worth approximately $250,000. Around 43% of thefts involved miscellaneous products for retailers, food, and drinks. The regions with the biggest rate of thievery were the Los Angeles area, the Dallas area, Memphis area, Chicago area, New York City area, and Miami area.
2020 Aug 24 Mon to 27 Thu: At Charlotte, North Carolina and various other locations (including the White House), the 2020 Republican National Convention (RNC) was held. Some of the speakers used telecommunications due to the COVID-19 quarantine. Many audience members at various locations did NOT practice social distancing nor wear face masks. The White House had a relatively large crowd sitting close to each other without face masks. Lots of BLM protesters and other protesters were outside the White House during the RNC. Most of the protesters wore masks.
2020 Aug 28 Thu: Soon after the end of the 4-day RNC, and at an airport hangar near Manchester, New Hampshire; Trump held a campaign rally. Before Trump made a speech, an event worker used the loudspeaker to ask the crowd to wear masks, but the crowd booed and did NOT practice social distancing. Other event workers asked the audience to wear masks and handed out masks, but the vast majority of audience members refused to wear masks, and the event workers did not care. New Hampshire’s state law required a mask for any person located in social situations.
2020 September 9 Wed: Bob Woodward worked with the Washington Post to release secret audio recordings of many discussions between Bob Woodward and President Trump. One of the discussions happened on 2020 February 7, and, during this discussion, Trump admitted that he knew the COVID-19 death rate was multiple times worse than the typical flu, which already killed tens-of-thousands of Americans each year. In another discussion, Trump talked about his handling of COVID-19: “I wanted to, I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down, because I don’t wanna create a panic.”
2020 Sept 11 Fri: More news was released about college students holding parties obviously without social distancing and masks (e.g., Miami University, Oxford, Ohio), Trump campaign rallies crammed with people who proudly did not wear masks (because individual choice was more important, COVID-19 was a hoax or was overrated, social distancing and masks were Democrat symbolism, masks interfered with clear communication, God was the true decider of who would live or die, Trump said the COVID-19 pandemic was mostly over, etc), various people crowding together at beaches and parks, people holding house parties, etc.
2020 Sept 15 Tue: At the National Constitution Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ABC News and Trump held a town hall meeting where some voters asked questions to Trump. Trump repeated his claim that masks were overrated for minimizing the spread of COVID-19.
Regarding Bob Woodward’s recent interview of Trump playing down COVID-19 to prevent panic, Trump rejected Bob Woodward’s audio recording and told another lie, “Yeah, well, I didn’t downplay it. I actually, in many ways, I up-played it, in terms of action. My action was very strong. I’m not looking to be dishonest. I don’t want people to panic.” Trump also blamed China’s President Xi Jinping, and said that President Xi told Trump that COVID-19 was under control in China, Trump trusted Xi, but China actually lost control of COVID-19. Data from China’s government, China’s civilians, and from foreigners in China (e.g., foreign exchange students and foreign workers who posted Youtube videos) showed that China actually had effective policies to minimize the spread of COVID-19, but Trump had a sloppy and inconsistent approach to COVID-19 from start to finish. During the town hall, Trump insisted he did a “great job” over COVID-19.
Also during the town hall, a black guy asked Trump if Trump understood the historical struggles of black Americans. Trump replied, “Well, I can say this. We have tremendous African American support. You’ve probably seen it in the polls. We’re doing extremely well with uh African American, Hispanic American at levels that you’ve rarely seen Republican had.” Actually voting results during the 2016 presidential election and 2018 elections proved that Trump and the Republican Party usually won around 10% or less of the African American votes, but the Democrats consistently won the large majority of African American votes (these percentages were reinforced by many surveys between 2016 to 2020). The black guy replied that Trump refused to acknowledge and address the race problem in America. Trump countered by stating that he hoped there were no race problems, and he had respect for black people, all races, and everybody.
2020 Sept 16 Wed: Trump continued to argue that masks and social distancing were mostly overrated, and building up herd immunity and allowing COVID-19 to naturally go away were the better solutions against COVID-19. Trump’s arguments were based on highly unreliable information promoted by Fox News. Trump also continued his claim that the US would have a COVID-19 vaccine for the general public by early November.
However, the CDC’s various workers and director (Dr. Robert Redfield) disagreed with Trump regarding the minimization of COVID-19 with masks, social distancing, and vaccine availability. Masks and social distancing (plus washing hands with soap and water) were effective against COVID-19 according to the CDC. During a White House press conference, Trump said the CDC director was “confused” and “he misunderstood the questions” regarding masks and social distancing. The CDC director also said that the COVID-19 vaccine would be available for the general public by the first half of 2021 or after that.
During a White House press conference, Trump held a presentation and said the vast majority of the COVID-19 deaths were in blue states (i.e., states that favored the Democrat Party), thus, the Democrat Party was at fault for America’s higher COVID-19 death rates when compared to other nations, but the states that favored the Republican Party had very low COVID-19 death rates that were the lowest in the world, thus, the Republican Party properly dealt with COVID-19. Trump also claimed the COVID-19 quarantine was excessively hurting the economy, this economic loss was far worse than the COVID-19 pandemic, and the economy should reopen ASAP.
However, America’s nation-wide data and international data concerning COVID-19 disagreed with Trump’s presentation. For example, some data showed nine of the 10 states with the highest COVID-19 infections relative to population size (e.g., quantity of infected people relative to net-total people in a particular state) had Republican governors. Regarding COVID-19 death rates per 100,000 people, the worse states were New York (Democrat), New Jersey (Democrat), Massachusetts (Democrat), Louisiana (Republican), Mississippi (Republican), Arizona (Republican), and Michigan (purple or no clear party preference).
Data from Johns Hopkins University: Regarding states that voted Hillary Clinton for president in 2016, these states had approximately 105,000 COVID-19 deaths or around 74 deaths per 100,000 people. States that voted for Trump had roughly 91,000 deaths or about 50 deaths per 100,000 people.
States, cities, and towns with Democrat majorities generally had larger population sizes and higher population densities than states, cities, and towns with Republican majorities had. All things being equal, a larger population and/or a higher population density would increase infection rates and death rates. Democrat areas also had superior transportation systems (e.g., sea ports and airports) for nation-wide and global trade, which were good for the economy, but bad for minimizing global infections. Democrat regions also led America’s technological progress for computers, biotechnology, and other scientific endeavors.
Trump also failed to mention that he was the president of the United States of America, thus, he had the primary responsibility of leading and managing America’s national or federal solutions against the COVID-19 epidemic across all of America, and to work with international entities to minimize the COVID-19 global pandemic. State governors and mayors of cities and towns had very limited powers and responsibilities for interstate policies, because each governor was legally limited to manage his/her own state, and the same could be said about each mayor. Governors and mayors had very restricted powers and responsibilities for international relations. In other words, Trump wanted the powerful benefits of the presidency, but none of the responsibilities, challenges, and other so-called drawbacks of the presidency.
Also on Wednesday, at Hillsdale College, Michigan, Trump’s Attorney General William Barr said the COVID-19 quarantine and colonial slavery were the worst violations of America’s civil liberties. Hahaha. We should hunt down AG Barr like a native red pest, or throw him into a desert concentration camp like an unwanted injun savage, or work him like a whipped black slave under western Europe's colonialism. Then ask him if he prefers that brutal treatment or following a COVID-19 quarantine. AG Barr also said the Black Lives Movement (BLM) was NOT really about black civil rights vs police violence, because only a few black people were victims of excessive policy violence for each year. AG Barr said BLM was really about pushing political policies of the Democrat Party across America. AG Barr is lowering the bar once again, and he should be disbarred. William Barr's greatest trauma was eating 10 donuts for lunch instead of 20 donuts. [This comment and many others were heavily redacted to circumvent Dgoogle's freedom censorship on Youtube.com.]
2020 Oct 2 Fri: For early Friday, the White House announced that Trump and Melania tested positive for COVID-19, but the White House refused to give details of when and how this test was taken and analyzed.
Trump only suffered mild symptoms like fatigue, but he went to Walter Reed Medical Center for various treatments. Hours before this announcement, White House top adviser Hope Hicks also tested positive for COVID-19. Joe Biden tweeted out sympathy and hope for the Trump family. Biden made a speech that warned about the importance of COVID-19 prevention (eg, social distancing, masks, washing hands, and contact tracing). The Biden campaign halted negative ads against Trump.
On the other hand, Trump had a history of ridiculing sick people: his own father’s dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, Hillary Clinton’s mental and physical frailty during the 2016 presidential election, and Joe Biden’s mental decline during the 2020 presidential election. The Trump campaign continued to launch negative ads against Biden. Trump supporters also sent out more propaganda about Biden, such as a fake picture of Biden wearing an earpiece for receiving answers by his advisers during Biden’s first presidential debate against Trump.
There was the possibility that Trump lied about his COVID-19 diagnosis. His previous medical doctors followed Trump’s orders to lie about Trump’s height, weight, longevity, physical fitness, mental intelligence, etc. Trump could use his alleged COVID-19 infection to gain sympathy, downplay the severity of COVID-19, boast about his immune system, brag about exaggerated treatments and cures for COVID-19, delay the second debate, etc.
2020 Oct 4 Sun: Trump decided to show his supporters that he only had mild symptoms from COVID-19 by riding in an SUV driven by and containing assistants, protected by Secret Service agents in other vehicles, and protected by law enforcement standing on the streets and sidewalks. Trump wore a mask during this motorcade that rode around Walter Reed hospital, and Trump waved at his supporters waiting on the sidewalk. Before this motorcade, Trump teased his supporters by releasing news about an upcoming surprise event.
According to America’s medical experts and international medical experts, an infected person should be quarantined and should avoid unnecessary social events.
Other White House members also tested positive for COVID-19 before, during, and after Trump’s alleged COVID-19 infection. According to White House members and journalists covering the White House, Trump’s leadership had minimal concern or frequent disregard for social distancing, masks, washing hands, and contact tracing.
2020 Oct 5 Mon: By evening, Trump left the hospital, returned to the White House, and did a photo-op without a mask to prove he was healthy and fit. Trump also released a video advising Americans to “Be careful” about COVID-19, but “don’t let it dominate you,” because “We have the best medical equipment, we have the best medicines.”
Trump received exceptionally good medical care that was beyond the reach of most Americans. According to various news, Trump and his White House subordinates received a COVID-19 test at least once per day matched with a fast test result. The detection of an infection as early as possible when the infection has minimal spread makes the treatment or cure much more effective. However, according to some news sources, Trump did NOT receive daily tests for COVID-19, and Trump’s White House refused to be transparent and repeatedly told lies about Trump’s medical situation.
Trump received antibody injections to help his immune system quickly detect and fight off the COVID-19 virus. Trump also received a specific type of steroid injection to prevent his immune system from overreacting to COVID-19. Trump had the medical service of many doctors and nurses, Trump's medical staff probably had access to good medical technology, and Trump was protected against unnecessary visits by the Secret Service. He was probably provided with a healthy diet by White House chefs and/or medical cooks before, during, and after his hospital stay. However, the exact details of Trump’s medical treatment were unknown and hidden by Trump’s medical privacy rights and his NDA legal contract with his medical providers.
According to medical experts, Trump only had COVID-19 for a few days, thus, his immune system possibly did not fully suppress the virus, which meant he was more likely to infect other people.
2020 Oct 6 Tues: A White House press aide tested positive for COVID-19. This meant at least 15 members of the White House were infected with COVID-19.
2020 Oct 8 Thu: This morning, Trump incorrectly claimed he was cured of the COVID-19 virus, but the virus was highly adaptable, thus, no cure really existed. This incurable situation was like the flu virus or common cold virus, which was vaccination shots only worked for certain seasons at specific locations against a limited variety of viruses.
Trump claimed that his antibody treatment (which was made by the Regeneron biotech company) was a cure against COVID-19, even though the scientific research was still highly debatable. According to international studies, antibody treatments for various infections had various degrees of effectiveness or uselessness depending on the exact details of the situation. Trump also said he wanted to provide this antibody treatment to all Americans free-of-charge. For many months, the Trump campaign said Trump would make China pay for the COVID-19 pandemic, but China’s government said the US was hypocritically responsible for the HIV pandemic, the 1918 flu pandemic, and other world problems.
Trump also had a telephone interview with Fox Business, and Trump falsely boasted of being a “perfect physical specimen” who was “extremely young” with no heart problems and diabetes. In reality, Trump was fat, was the oldest president in American history, and had high cholesterol. Trump had a history of hiding his medical records (which was his legal right) and making his medical providers sign NDAs (non-disclosure agreements), but Trump hypocritically criticized and ridiculed other people’s health problems, and Trump hypocritically demanded to see other people’s medical records for public criticism and mockery.
Trump suggested that Gold Star families might be the source of his COVID-19 infection. Gold Star families are relatives of US soldiers who died during combat.
2020 Oct 9 Fri: The White House continued to hide complete information and constantly told more lies about Trump’s tests for COVID-19, such as the date and time for his last negative test result, his recent positive test result, exactly how often he underwent COVID-19 tests, how the tests and analyses were performed, etc. Accurate data about when Trump last tested negative for COVID-19 and when Trump tested positive combined with contract tracing could help reveal how likely he infected other people. The addition of viral genetic comparisons could also reveal the schedule of who infected whom. The White House and its official doctors insisted Trump had the right to medical privacy. However, before Trump allegedly tested positive for COVID-19, Trump and the White House boasted of various negative test results for COVID-19.
2020 Oct 10 Sat: The White House’s official doctor claimed Trump could not infect other people with the COVID-19 virus. Thus, Trump should be allowed to closely hang out with other people, attend debates in-person, and hold campaign rallies. On this day, Trump used the White House again to hold a campaign rally, even though tradition and laws opposed the usage of the White House for any political party’s campaign rallies.
Throughout the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CDC released more data showing that the US greatly underestimated COVID-19 infections from Europe. Most of the early COVID-19 infections inside the USA came from people traveling between the US and Europe. The US initiated travel restrictions against China on 2020 February 2, but the US started travel restrictions against Europe on March 13, even China already placed travel restrictions for China’s citizens traveling within China, out of of China, and into China. Between Feb 2 and Mar 13, around 60,000 people traveled from Europe to the US every single day. New York City was the first American city to suffer a COVID-19 epidemic, and its COVID-19 virus was most related to the virus in Europe.
2020 October 7 Wed: The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) published a scientific research paper titled, “Analysis of Genomic Characteristics and Transmission Routes of Patients With Confirmed SARS-CoV-2 in Southern California During the Early Stage of the US COVID-19 Pandemic,” and this research concluded that the COVID-19 infection in Los Angeles, CA was mostly from New York City, NY, and NYC infection route was mostly from Europe. The COVID-19 virus is also called the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
According to this research, the genome for the SARS-CoV-2 in Los Angeles was more related to the SARS-CoV-2 in New York City and Europe, and less related to the SARS-CoV-2 in Asia. The virus samples were taken from 192 patients in Los Angeles, and 82% of the viral samples were more related to viral samples in New York City and Europe. Only 15% of the viral samples were more related to viral samples in Asia.
The research stated that America’s first COVID-19 patient was discovered on 2020 January 19 in Seattle city, Washington state, and this patient’s viral infection was from China. New York City had the largest COVID-19 outbreak, and the large majority of the viral infections came from Europe. The infections in New York City and Europe became the dominant sources of infections for Los Angeles and probably for other American cities and towns.
This research paper and other research papers proved that Trump’s initial travel restrictions against China were ineffective, because Trump’s travel restrictions failed to block out infected people traveling from Europe to America, infected Americans traveling from China to America, infected non-China citizens traveling from China to the US or from China to Europe to the US, etc. In other words, Trump’s initial travel restriction was too narrow-minded to deal with a global problem.
2020 Oct 14 Wed: At Des Moines, Iowa, the Trump campaign held a huge rally of 10,000 people. Most of the attendees did NOT wear masks, did not practice social distancing, and were crowded together. When Trump spoke on the podium, the much smaller crowd behind him wore masks, but that was for background propaganda purposes for when the camera focused on Trump during his speech. Pictures and videos of the much larger crowd in front of Trump and to his left and right sides showed that the vast majority of the attendees were crowded together without masks. Trump’s speech repeated his claims that COVID-19 was almost entirely harmless for younger people, such as his son who supposedly had COVID-19 with very mild symptoms and fast recovery period, and very low death rates for everyone else. Thus, Trump wanted to re-open schools and the economy as soon as possible.
2020 Oct 15 Thu: The World Health Organization (WHO) released an international study showing how Remdesivir, hydroxychloroquine, lopinavir/ritonavir, and interferon had extremely low effectiveness in treating COVID-19, but each drug had significant side effects. Previously, the Trump presidency purchased enormous quantities of Remdesivir at extremely inflated prices. The Trump presidency also advocated hydroxychloroquine as an effective COVID-19 treatment, which jacked up the sales of the drug. This situation further proved Trump was really awful at investing money in good ideas, but Trump excelled at burning lots of money to fuel bad ideas. So far, the Democrat Party was too dumb to use this info against Trump for the 2020 federal, state, and city/town elections.
2020 Oct 18 Sun: At Nevada, Trump held another campaign rally that ignored social distancing and mostly ignored the usage of masks. Trump made a speech that criticized science policies for COVID-19, quarantines, and social distancing. Trump falsely boasted that, because he did not listen to science, America’s economy avoided a “massive depression,” and America’s economy was “like a rocket ship”.
The Trump White House also favored the policies of Dr. Scott Atlas, who specialized in radiology, not infectious diseases, and who had a history of supporting Republican Party propaganda. Dr. Scott Atlas recommended no quarantines, no social distancing, and no masks to deal with COVID-19. Dr. Atlas said herd immunity was the better solution, even though it would result in much higher infection rates and death rates.
For this month and the previous month, Trump repeatedly boasted the US was recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, but actual medical data totally disagreed with Trump’s boast. Actual medical data showed that America was struggling to contain COVID-19 infection rates and death rates, even when compared to international data. Due to America’s sloppy and inconsistent policies for COVID-19, America’s COVID-19 infection and death rates kept fluctuating up and down like a roller-coaster ride. Depending on the exact month, America’s COVID-19 infection and death rates were around 20% to 25% of the world’s total, even though America only represented approximately 5% of the world’s population.
2020 Oct 19 Mon: News reported a leaked phone call between Trump and his presidential campaign workers of about 2,000 people plus journalists. The audio record proved Trump said, “People are tired of COVID. I have these huge rallies. People are saying whatever. Just leave us alone. They’re tired of it. People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots, these people, these people that have gotten it wrong. Fauci is a nice guy. He’s been here for 500 years. He’s called every one of them wrong. . . . Every time he goes on television there’s always a bomb, but there’s a bigger bomb if you fire him, but Fauci is a disaster. I mean, this guy, if I listened to him, we would have 500,000 deaths.”
Dr. Fauci replied with a professional statement that talked about avoiding unnecessary drama and focusing on healing America. Dr. Fauci had decades of professional experience with microbiology and virology.
2020 Oct 21 Wed: Dr. Rick Bright was an expert on infectious diseases and, earlier in the year, he resigned from the Department of Health and Human Services, because he was critical of Trump’s leadership over COVID-19, thus, Trump demoted Dr. Rick Bright into pointless jobs. On this day and previous days, Dr. Rick Bright gave interviews to various news organizations about how Trump dealt with COVID-19 by ignoring scientists, editing the work of scientists, and favoring sycophantic cronyism and political trickery to (mis)handle COVID-19.
2020 Oct 22 Thu: News revealed that the FDA finally approved Gilead Science’s drug called Remdesivir for mass usage as treatment against COVID-19, even though international studies showed that Remdesivir was ineffective against COVID-19, but Trump insisted the drug was an effective treatment for COVID-19, thus, Trump’s presidency provided lots of financial support for Gilead Science corporation.
Today was the second presidential debate. As expected, both Trump and Biden told lots of lies. Regarding COVID-19, Trump insisted America was doing exceptionally well with minimizing and treating COVID-19, America was rounding the corner in dealing with COVID-19, he took full responsibility over COVID-19, and he blamed China for America’s infections and deaths due to COVID-19. Facts proved America was struggling to contain COVID-19, even by international comparisons. Thus, Trump’s claim of rounding the corner was more like repeatedly going around the corner like a NASCAR race.
Before today at various campaign rallies, Trump boasted of successfully curing COVID-19. At one campaign rally, Trump declared, “We’re entering the final turn and approaching the light at the end of the tunnel.” It was more like the final turn for the first lap at a NASCAR race, and the light in the tunnel was from an oncoming train.
2020 Oct 23 Fri: Trump continued to criticize Dr. Anthony Fauci as a Democrat traitor and overrated moron. During a CNN interview by Erin Burnett, Dr. Fauci said he was focused on dealing with COVID-19, and he considered Trump’s drama to be merely noise.
Reporter Jeff Mason wore a typical mask for hygiene to the White House’s Oval Office, and Trump ridiculed him for wearing the largest mask Trump had ever seen. During this ridicule, Trump’s Oval Office contained lots of White House subordinates crowded together, and nearly all of them, including Trump, did NOT wear masks.
Vice President Pence’s campaign team was also suffering a COVID-19 outbreak, but most of Pence’s campaign staff still refused to follow social distancing and wear masks in its day-to-day operations and campaign rallies.
2020 Oct 24 Sat: Trump held more campaign rallies where the vast majority of thousands of attendees were crowded together and did NOT wear masks. Various medical reports noticed that, in multiple cities and states, after Trump held a campaign rally, that area suffered large increases in COVID-19 infections.
2020 Nov 1 Sun: For the past many days, Dr. Fauci (and other medical experts) repeatedly said Trump’s campaign rallies with dense crowds of people who mostly did not wear masks were increasing the rate of COVID-19 infections. Trump and his supporters threatened to fire Dr. Fauci after Trump would supposedly win reelection.
2020 Nov 6 Fri: While California Governor Gavin Newsom (white gentile) recommended social distancing, he went to an in-person dinner party at the luxurious French Laundry restaurant in Yountville, CA. This news was revealed on Nov 17 Tue. The dinner party was a birthday celebration for lobbyist Jason Kinney, and around 10 people attended without sitting at least 6 feet apart and without wearing face masks before and after eating dinner. Various people criticized the governor for hypocrisy.
2020 Nov 8 Sun: Previously, the Trump White House boasted America’s medical scientists would have a COVID-19 vaccine by the election day of 2020 Nov 3 Tuesday, or around that day. So far, all of the American vaccines were still under research-and-development, because the prototypical vaccines had inadequate effectiveness and/or excessive side-effects for too many people. According to various medical experts, the vaccine would require more months to carefully test out and to gradually mass produce for the general public.
2020 Nov 12 Thu: Based on national medical studies, COVID-19 infection rates had increased from September to today. However, Trump was still in the White House making false accusations and supporting frivolous lawsuits about massive voter fraud.
Across America, people continued to ignore social distancing and mask wearing by secretly holding social events and parties at homes, restaurants, nightclubs, yachts, and other places. Some people publicly enjoyed their social events and parties. Dr. Mikhail Varshavski (Jew from Russia) was gloried by the mainstream media as a celebrity doctor, and he wanted the government to legally enforce social distancing and mask wearing. On Nov 12, the medical doctor held a 31st birthday party with various women and men on a crowded boat in Miami, Florida. Many of his gullible fans were disappointed in the doctor’s hypocrisy.
2020 Nov 15 Sun: At the European Union, a study by the National Cancer Institute of Milan found the novel coronavirus in blood samples collected in 2019 October.
2020 Nov 21 Sat: Across America, news companies, social media, and food banks reported record-long lines of people obtaining free food. Due to the quarantine, lots of people completely stopped working or partially stopped working, thus, these people struggled to pay for rent, mortgage, food, and other essential expenses.
2020 Nov 25 Wed: Michael Hancock (black guy) was the mayor of Denver, Colorado, and he told the general public to avoid travel and in-person family gatherings for the Thanksgiving holiday (which was the next day of Thursday). He recommended family meetings through the Internet. Less than an hour later, he traveled on an airliner to attend a smaller, in-person family gathering at Mississippi. The general public accused him of hypocrisy.
2020 Nov 30 Mon: Dr. Scott Atlas (neuroradiology) was one of the top medical advisers for Trump, and he resigned today. He doubted the effectiveness of quarantines, and believed economic re-opening was much more important for the well-being of America. He lasted in the Trump White House for less than 5 months. As of today, America still had high infection rates for COVID-19. For the past many months, America’s infection rate did NOT look like a bell curve, but a roller-coaster ride. The infection rate kept on going up-and-down, because the entire nation had a sloppy, inconsistent policy for quarantines, social distancing, face masks, washing hands, and allocating resources and personnel from areas of lesser need to areas of greater need.
2020 Dec 1 Tue: News reported that police stopped an orgy of 25 men with an unspecified number of women (as in zero or more) at a gay bar district of Brussels, Belgium. This orgy violated the European Union’s rules for the COVID-19 quarantine. Some European government officials participated at the orgy, which also included drugs and alcohol. The next, Dec 2 Wed, the organizer of the orgy David Manzheley insisted the orgy participants followed safety rules to ensure nobody was infectious. His description of the orgy implied the orgy was for gay men.
Also on Dec 1 Tue: Months of lawsuits finally allowed independent or third-party entities to examine the small business program for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) or Economic Injury Disaster (EIDL) loan, which was an economic stimulus during the COVID-19 quarantine. These special loans featured low interest and/or a forgivable option, and the loans were allocated by the Trump presidency. As expected, the accounting for the economic stimulus involved lots of controversies. The Trump family’s and Kushner family’s various businesses received at least $3.65 million of special loans under suspicious circumstances (e.g., too much money for each case, money that did NOT protect jobs, and vague information about the business and how it spent the loan). These problems also existed for hundreds of other businesses.
2020 Dec 2 Wed: The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and American Red Cross revealed a study indicating the COVID-19 virus was in America by 2019 December. Before, US medical studies indicated the novel coronavirus first entered America through an infected person on 2020 January 19 Sun. The CDC and Red Cross study analyzed nearly 7,400 blood samples from 9 states during 2019 Dec 13 to 2020 Jan 20. Over 100 blood samples had COVID-19 antibodies.
So far, COVID-19 vaccines were still being quickly developed by the US, EU, Russia, and China. The plan was for mass usage of these vaccines by 2021 spring season to summer time. As usual, the US’s and EU’s governments and mainstream media used hypocrisy and cherry-picked data to criticize the vaccines being developed by China and Russia, even though China and Russia were trying to make affordable vaccines for the entire world. Trump also failed to buy up pre-sales or future sales of vaccines designed in America, but other nations bought massive quantities of vaccines that would be delivered in the future. Thus, Trump signed an executive order demanding that American-designed vaccines must prioritize American customers.
On 2020 Dec 7 Mon morning, at Florida, the police raided the home of Rebekah Jones, who claimed she was a whistleblower against the mismanagement of COVID-19 infections by Florida’s state health department. Rebekah Jones claimed the police pointed guns at her family, and the police took all of her personal computers and electronic storage devices (e.g., USB flash drives). The police denied pointing guns at anyone, and said she was under investigation with a search warrant for illegally obtaining and transmitting government data. The police said they tried contacting her through the phone, but she refused to talk. The police said they tried meeting her at her home’s front door, but she refused to open her door for 23 minutes.
On 2020 Dec 8 Tue, Iran accused the Zionist US empire of pressuring various nations to restrict or entirely block Iran’s attempts to purchase COVID-19 vaccines from international developers and producers. Because COVID-19 was a global pandemic, the empire’s sanctions were promoting the spread of COVID-19 from Iran to other nations.
2020 Dec 11 Fri: Today, the New York Times said the FDA would approve very soon the emergency usage of a COVID-19 vaccine being developed by Pfizer and BioNTech. The New York Times said this data was based on 3 anonymous sources. Approximately 20 minutes later at 6:32 pm, Trump released a video on Twitter stating: “Today our nation has achieved a medical miracle. We have delivered a safe and effective vaccine in just 9 months. This is one of the greatest scientific accomplishments in history. It will save millions of lives and soon end the pandemic once and for all. . . . Pfizer and Moderna have announced their vaccine is approximately 95% effective, far exceeding expectations. These vaccines are also very safe. . . . Through Operation Warp Speed, my administration provided a total of $14 billion to accelerate vaccine development. . . . and I’m proud to say that we have made sure that this vaccine will be free for all Americans. . . . ”
News revealed that an anonymous source within the federal government claimed White House Chief-of-Staff Mark Meadows ordered the FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn to grant an emergency use authorization for the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech by this Friday. If Dr. Hahn refused, then he must resign. The White House refused to confirm or deny this anonymous claim.
2020 Dec 16 Wed: News reported that Twitter was tightening its censorship against users who tweeted criticisms about the COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines. Some Twitter users said vaccines had overrated effectiveness, vaccines had understated side-effects to a person’s overall health, vaccines could decrease a person’s fertility and/or cause neurological damage, the body’s immune system should be allowed to naturally develop resistance against infections, the general population was better off with herd immunity, mandatory vaccination was a violation of a person’s Constitutional Bill of Rights, etc. Critical statements like these were increasingly censored by Twitter.
News also revealed the results of an investigation by a committee from the Congressional House of Representatives about the White House’s leadership over the COVID-19 pandemic. The investigation showed how members of the White House, Health and Human Services (HHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) exchanged emails recommending herd immunity to deal with COVID-19. However, for the past many weeks, various members of the White House and other federal agencies repeatedly and publicly said herd immunity was NOT the president’s official solution, even though President Trump repeatedly boasted of herd immunity’s effectiveness in public events.
2021 January 10 Sun: So far, the COVID-19 vaccines were quickly developed, but slowly released to the general public. Even though many millions of vaccine doses were produced, billions of people needed them. A small minority of people experienced minor side-effects from the COVID-19 vaccines. An extremely tiny fraction of people suffered major side effects or death, but the exact causes of death were under investigation. At least a large minority of the general public distrusted the COVID-19 vaccines, because the vaccines’ research-and-development were rushed under emergency demands, thus, the vaccines’ short-term to long-term side-effects were incompletely known. Across various parts of America (and many other nations), COVID-19 infection rates were still high. President Trump and his political rallies continued to ignore recommendations for social distancing and face masks, because they believed COVID-19 was a global conspiracy to create a new social-economic system for the entire planet, but Trump still complained about the devastation created by the China flu.
