The mainstream media says Helen Gurley Brown is the poster girl for the modern woman or a strong woman. Brown has a phenomenal career where she has been independent, dated many guys, and aggressively pursued her successful career as a writer for magazines. However, a new book ironically claims otherwise. Jennifer Scanlon wrote “Bad Girls Go Everywhere: The Life of Helen Gurley Brown.” Scanlon wrote this book to promote Brown, but I think Scanlon accidentally did the opposite. I don’t know how accurate Scanlon’s biography of Brown is, but here is my interpretation of this book.
Brown wanted to be wealthy, influential, and well-respected, but she came from a poor family, was raised in a small town, and had no connections. Brown got an education and immediately went to work. She could not succeed at work through her talents and skills, so she became a prostitute. She slept with wealthy, powerful, and high-ranking men. She first did this as an escort model, then she did this on her own. She willingly dated upperclass men to get good jobs. Eventually, she married an upperclass man and, ever since, has lived happily ever after. If you don’t know, Helen Gurley Brown was an editor for the popular magazine, Cosmopolitan, which instructs women to be strong or independent.
Brown looked down upon housewives for being servile towards their husbands. She also thought housewives were disgustingly provincial. What great irony.
Brown claims she was a strong, independent, or modern woman, because she dated upperclass men to get ahead in life. My interpretation? Brown was essentially an expensive fuck toy for upperclass men. Ironically, she accuses housewives of being procreation robots owned by their husbands. Brown is obsessed with money, power, and prominence. Ironically, Brown thinks housewives are stupid for focusing their life towards raising a family. Brown is an adult and she can do whatever she wants as long as she doesn’t oppress anyone, but she is one clueless, hypocritical fucktard. There are only superficial differences between a woman who gets benefits by sleeping with wealthier/more powerful/higher-ranking men, and a woman who sees herself primarily as a subsidiary to her husband. Both types of women are tools for men. A career-oriented woman or a family-oriented woman can be successful in their own ways without being owned by men. Women should form a fair partnership with men, and vice versa.
Imagine if every woman was like Brown — an expensive, penis receptor that only cares about money, power, and popularity. Women will turn into concubines for upperclass men, and a few lucky ones will get married. The rest is cast aside once they are old or infected. If a woman is ugly, then she will be out of work, unless she knows an excellent plastic surgeon. Approximately one-half of the population (the female half) will be too stupid or superficial to do something productive, such as raising children into decent adults or providing diversified labor that is critical for the development of a modern society or an age of convenience.
There is more to life than money, power, and popularity. They are important, but so are science, engineering, manual labor, all forms of art, morals, a long history of honorable accomplishments, individual freedom and responsibility, and many other things. If everyone was a CEO, then who would take out the trash? Who would spend night and day in the research lab? Who would sell and market the products and services? Who would cut our hair? Who would enforce the law or protect us against invaders?
I am happy that life turned out well for Brown, because she could have ended up into becoming a drugged-up, old whore, thus this obsolete prostitute would be left to accept jobs not based on pleasing rich dicks. Even worse, she could have been infected with sexually transmitted diseases. On a more positive note, she could of became a porn star, or possibly a Hollywood actress. Hollywood actresses are basically softcore porn stars masquerading as artists. They become full-blown prostitutes when they are in the privacy of Hollywood producers, Hollywood directors, and other corporate officers. Prostitution is one of the oldest professions out there. In this regard, Brown is not a strong woman or a modern women, but she is perpetuating the ancient, sexual objectification of women by higher ranking men.
The point of the matter is that any human being, whether man or woman, should avoid being a tool, puppet, or pet for another human being. If we have a society based on master-slave relationships or any form of an oligarchy, then we cannot have a productive society that is favorable towards everyone. Each person should be free and responsible. Ideally, people should engage in mutually beneficial relationships based on enhancing positive similarities and/or complementary traits. Yeah, I know, it’s a lot easier said than done, but partially achieving your ideals is a lot better than trashing all of your ideals to become an honorary slave. Don’t just be impulsive or shortsighted, but also look at the big picture and long-term effects.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. When feminists refuse to wear bras because they don’t want their womanhood to be restricted, such women are being naive. When women don’t wear bras, their tits are easily outlined by their shirts. When braless women walk around, their tits jump up and down. This is a lightning fast way to arouse a nearby, heterosexual, and non-blind man. If I was a sexist pig, I would try to pass a law forbidding women from wearing bras and panties.
