An Italian study discovered 2 problems with pregnant goats that were fed genetically modified soybeans (e.g., Monsanto’s products). These goats (1) gave birth to offsprings with stunted growth and (2) produced inferior milk: “Genetically modified soybeans causes stunted growth of animal offspring” (http://www.naturalnews.com/053185_GMO_soybeans_Roundup_Ready_birth_defects.html).
Here’s another reason to avoid junk food: “GMO Corn and Herbicide Found in 100% of Frito-Lay SunChips Samples” (http://naturalsociety.com/gmo-corn-and-herbicide-found-in-100-of-frito-lay-sunchips-samples/).
Satiety is achieved by eating foods that contain fiber and a large variety of truly natural nutrients (e.g., protein, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, vitamins, anti-oxidants, anti-inflammation compounds, and enzymes that aid digestion and toxins removal). Junk foods typically contain excess carbohydrates, excess fats, and/or excess synthetic ingredients (e.g., synthetic colors, artificial flavors, preservatives, man-made emulsifiers, and hydrogenated vegetable oils) while providing inadequate fiber and nutrient variety. This unbalanced and unnatural meal does not promote satiety, which is one reason for why people tend to overeat junk foods.
Junk foods are also purposely designed to have addictive ratios of sugars, fats, salts, and artificial ingredients. Junk foods are commonly promoted by dishonest sales, fraudulent marketing, and misleading advertisements. Buying and eating junk foods are much simpler tasks than buying real foods, storing real foods, cleaning real foods, cooking real foods, and eating a real meal. Junk foods are highly convenient, but this convenience has lots of long-term drawbacks for your health and fitness.
A single, residual toxin over the long-term should not significantly harm you, but we are constantly exposed to a mixture of a large variety of toxins from various sources (e.g., agricultural products, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, deodorants and antiperspirants, cosmetics, medication, soaps, detergents, toothpaste, industrial pollution, pollution from vehicles and other machines, and plastics and other synthetic materials). This combination could insidiously cause significant harm.
Synthetic fragrances could be toxic, and they are regulated by the corporations that produce and sell them: “The Fragrance in Your Shampoo Might Be Making You Sick” (http://www.naturalblaze.com/2016/03/the-fragrance-in-your-shampoo-might-be-making-you-sick.html). This self-regulation is suppose to protect trade secrets and promote safety, but some reports claimed a large minority of people are irritated or have been poisoned by synthetic fragrances (e.g., the development of cancer). Government agencies assume the corporations conduct honest safety tests until a major lawsuit occurs.
The EPA government-agency and the DOW corporation conspired to greatly understate the toxicity of pesticides, but various groups successfully sued the EPA to stop the increased usage and consumption of pesticides: “EPA Intentionally “Fudged The Numbers” To Make Poisonous DOW Chemical Appear Safe” (http://www.naturalblaze.com/2015/12/epa-intentionally-fudged-the-numbers-to-make-poisonous-dow-chemical-appear-safe.html).
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has a long history of secretly abusing self-regulation standards. Recently, GSK “accidentally” released 12 gallons of the polio virus into a Belgian river. GSK also used poor and uneducated Argentinians as lab rats. This resulted in the death of 14 babies: “GlaxoSmithKline fined less than $100,000 for killing 14 babies during vaccine trials” (http://www.naturalnews.com/053160_GlaxoSmithKline_vaccine_trials_infant_deaths.html#). Because GSK establishes insider deals and revolving doors with other major corporations and government agencies, GSK is barely punished for its “accidents”.
The government even censors, censures, slanders, and punishes its own scientists who tell the complete truth about overrated corporate products: “This Scientist [Jonathan Lundgren] Uncovered Problems With Pesticides. Then the Government Started to Make His Life Miserable.” (http://www.motherjones.com/tom-philpott/2015/11/usda-researcher-claims-harrassment-and-retaliation-pesticide-research). This is due to the revolving doors and insider deals between government workers and corporate workers.
Then there are the controversial regulations for performance-enhancing supplements and drugs. The US regime seems desperate to slander and punish the Russia regime: “ Tennis star Sharapova ‘provisionally suspended’ after failing drug test” (https://www.rt.com/sport/334845-maria-sharapova-drug-test/). Sharapova is from Russia.
I think at least a large minority of professional athletes and highly competitive amateur athletes uses performance-enhancing supplements and drugs. The key to avoiding punishments is getting substance approval from the drug-testing organization(s), using relatively small amounts that cannot be detected or are within acceptable limits, sending fake or altered samples, and/or using substances that are not tested for. There are various reports about this from the NFL, MLB, boxing, kickboxing, mixed martial arts, marathon runners, cyclists, triathlons, the Olympics, IAAF World Championships, swimming, etc.
The pinnacle of cherry-picking partial truths mixed with lies: “The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter [which is the world’s most costly weapons project] Is Still a Huge Mess [that has been glamorized by the military industrial complex]” (http://warisboring.com/articles/the-f-35-joint-strike-fighter-is-still-a-huge-mess/?mc_cid=7e9b83b724&mc_eid=e6abc0251e).
The military industrial complex regurgitates lots of propaganda about the supposedly amazing features offered by the F-35 multi-role jet, which is also called the Joint Strike Fighter for the USAF, US Navy, US Marine Corps, US allies, & US partners. The F-35 has an additional name, the Lightning 2, but the F-35 has ironic defects that make the jet vulnerable to actual lightning. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. The F-35 should be called the most expensive Jack-of-all-trades, but a master of nothing (i.e., the F-35 MEJOATBAMON).
Leaked reports, declassified reports, and external reviews claimed the F-35 continually suffers major problems with its disappointing aerodynamic shape, single-engine design that overheats and easily breaks apart during aggressive maneuvers, excessively small volume or packing too much technology into the jet, unreliable and high-maintenance stealth features, software crashes and shortcomings, restrictions created by the cockpit and virtual-reality helmet, dangerous ejection-seat, inadequate weapons capacity, inferior speed (e.g., top speed, control over deceleration and acceleration, instantaneous and sustained turning rates, and cruising speed), high maintenance needs, limited upgrade features, difficult-to-repair problems, mass producing expensive prototypes that need costly upgrades sometime in the future, etc.
The Pentagon, Lockheed Martin, and the rest of the military industrial complex insist the F-35 is too-big-to-fail, and, with the right mind-set (i.e., rigged tests), the F-35 is totally worth its extravagant price tag.
Anyhow, I found an easy way to enjoy seeded grapes. Seedless grapes don’t taste quite as good as seeded grapes, and seedless grapes cost more than seeded grapes. Before eating grapes, you should remove the grapes with mold, bacterial growth, and rot. Then wash the seeded grapes before eating them. When you eat a seeded grape, start your first bite from the stem hole in the grape to nearly halfway through toward the opposite side of the grape. This bite will partially reveal the more or less 4 seeds inside the grape.
To easily remove the seeds, dig them out with a tiny fork. The fork should be ~5 inches long with two small prongs. I think they are called cocktail forks, dessert forks, fruit salad forks, etc. The tiny prongs allow you to easily remove the seeds without mutilating the grape and creating a mess. Then you could enjoy the rest of the grape.
