I followed the instruction manual that came with the brand-new bathroom-sink faucet. However, I still experienced a tiny leak between the waste seat and the drain gasket, washer, and drain nut. I think a tiny amount of water was going down the thread on the waste seat; through the drain gasket, washer, and drain nut; and out of the bottom of the drain nut.
I think the solution is to apply some plumber’s putty onto the threads of the waste seat. The exact application involves two locations on the waste seat. The first location is around the bottom area where the waste seat is next to the bottom side of the basin’s drain hole, and this area is also where the drain gasket screws upward on the waste seat and plugs the bottom side of the basin’s drain hole. The second location is exactly under the drain gasket and into the surrounding thread of the waste seat.
Obviously, the bathroom faucet’s water supply should be turned off before you loosen or remove anything from the old faucet and while you install the new faucet.
Before I installed the waste seat into the basin’s drain hole, I installed the tailpiece into the drain pipe that’s installed into the wall. The instruction manual said plumber’s putty should be applied to the underside of the rim of the waste seat, which I did. Then I lightly placed the waste seat into the basin’s drain hole. Next, I applied the plumber’s putty into the waste seat’s thread that’s adjacent to the bottom of the basin’s drain hole. Afterwards, I hand-screwed the drain gasket halfway upward on the waste seat. Then I hand-screwed the washer and drain nut right below the drain gasket.
The above sequence allows the waste seat to move upward, which creates enough space between the waste seat’s bottom and the tailpiece’s top. This space allows me to (1) easily attach/remove the drain gasket, washer, and/or drain nut onto/from the waste seat (for whatever reason), and (2) easily move the waste seat up and down or rotate it (which was important for the next step).
Then I tightly hand-screwed the top of the tailpiece (which has an o-ring inside) all the way upward into the bottom of the waste seat. Then I rotated the entire assembly so that the tailpiece’s side-opening (that’s for the push pivot rod) points toward the wall that has the hot-water and cold-water supply. The tailpiece must maintain this correct orientation.
After I fully installed the tailpiece to the waste seat, I used my hands to screw the drain nut fully upward on the waste seat while I held the tailpiece in proper position. When the drain nut screws upward, it pushes the washer and drain gasket upward. Once the drain gasket pushes up against bottom side of the basin’s drain hole, I screwed the drain nut and washer back downward, thus, there was space between the drain gasket and the washer plus the drain nut.
Then I applied plumber’s putty onto the second location of the waste seat, and this second location is exactly below the drain gasket. I applied plumber’s putty up against the drain gasket’s bottom and into the waste seat’s thread. Then I hand-screwed the washer and drain nut upward into the drain gasket while I held the tailpiece in the appropriate direction.
Then I used a tongue and groove plier to tightly screw the drain nut upward while I held the tailpiece in place. After the I did this, I turned on the water supply, closed the basin plug to allow water to accumulate in the basin, turned on the faucet, and patiently checked for leaks. Then I opened the basin plug and allowed lots of accumulated water to flow down the waste seat. Then I patiently checked for leaks. I did this leak test 3 times. I did not see any leaks.
Knock on wood . . .
Anyhow, the replacement of the bathroom faucet is a conceptually simple job, but it requires specialized tools, working in uncomfortable positions (e.g., kneeling down next to the bathroom sink, lying underneath the bathroom sink, and putting up with cramped spaces underneath the sink), lots of repetition (e.g, unscrewing and screwing in various components), carefully chipping away old sealing-and-adhesive caulk from the basin, properly dealing with disgusting mold, making sure every piece is in the correct location, waiting for the newly applied caulk to dry, etc.
The worst part of installing a new faucet was putting up with components that were not originally designed to be replaced. The original sink basin and sink faucet were installed so that the basin partially covered and was tightly next to the faucet’s two mounting nuts. This description is from a perspective of lying underneath the sink and looking upward at the bottom of the sink. Thus, a simple removal of the old faucet required the more strenuous removal of the basin, which meant the new faucet had to be installed before the reinstallation of the basin.
I’m obviously an extremely amateur plumber, but professional plumbers installed the original parts. Somehow, these so-called professional plumbers did not realize that the faucet’s two mounting nuts should be located at least 5 millimeters from the basin. Instead, the pros decided to install the faucet, and then install the basin slightly over the faucet’s mounting nuts. Thus, the removal of the faucet requires the removal of the basin, and installing a basin requires a basin that fits slightly over the faucet’s mounting nuts. This is clearly a bad idea for easy maintenance.
Here’s another awful idea: “Italy furious after Charlie Hebdo caricature depicts quake victims as pasta & lasagna” (https://www.rt.com/news/358113-italy-earthquake-charlie-hebdo/). “Je Suis Charlie” was the European rally cry when this notorious magazine was hit by Muslim terrorists. Charlie Hebdo takes pride in ridiculing various people and defending itself with freedom of speech.
Ideally, Charlie Hebdo has every right to publish controversial viewpoints, because Charlie Hebdo does not force its opinions onto others. You have the choice to accept or reject Charlie Hebdo’s publications. However, Charlie Hebdo is a hypocrite.
To be more specific, Charlie Hebdo is run by Zionist Jews who take pride in criticizing and making fun of goyim around the world. Sometime in the past, Charlie Hebdo fired a gentile worker for making fun of Jews. Charlie Hebdo does not defend other individuals and groups who blame and ridicule Jews. Charlie Hebdo has a history of censuring and mocking other individuals and groups who denounce and deride Jews.
Charlie Hebdo is obviously promoting double-standards, which is the norm for God’s Chosen Pharisees, the religion of self-worship, the cult of the delusions of grandeur, and the tribe of God complex. To make things worse, the liberal-guilt peddlers and Zionist Christians insist we must provide a full range of qualitatively superior direct and indirect welfare to Israel and its Zionist diaspora.
The US mainstream media boasts it is the world leader of free speech and free press, but reality proves otherwise. The US mainstream media is actually the global leader of partial truths mixed with lies. Here are more examples of double-standard freedom-of-speech and double-standard press-freedom:

The Zionist US kleptocracy likes to internationally boast of its free speech and press freedom, but this topic is not a simply black-and-white or yes-and-no category. In some ways, the US regime has superior freedom of speech and press. Regarding certain topics, the US regime has average freedom of speech and press. In other situations, the US regime has inferior freedom of speech and press. Thus, the US mainstream media has very low approval ratings in the US.
The US Congress gave a monetary monopoly to the Federal Reserve, which is a private corporation and not a government bureau. The Federal Reserve prints out however much money it wants and allocates the money as it sees fit. Thus, the Federal Reserve uses this monetary monopoly to create insider deals and revolving doors. In return, this conspiracy creates cartels in the form of various corporations and government agencies. This is one of many reasons for why the US Congress, US major banks, and US major corporations have very low approval ratings in the US.
Obviously, this monetary monopoly repeatedly runs into major problems such as insolvency. The USA lacks the natural resources and labor to support this continuous money creation. Thus, the US regime created the petrodollar's global scams (e.g., central banksters' monopoly money, exclusive deals with oil-and-gas nations & other nations with rich natural resources, inflation tax, usury, financial fees & bureaucracy, infinite debt, unending derivatives, cartels, and sanctions).
The distribution of financial inflation around the world results in less noticeable inflation than the concentration of financial inflation within one nation. However, this global financial fraud requires obedient nations worldwide, which means the US regime needs to prop up corporate cartels around the world, support proxy rebels throughout the planet, and prop up proxy regimes all over the place. At the same time, the US regime justifies this foreign policy with moral pretexts (e.g., explosive liberations, humanitarian shootouts, dumb-mock-crazy elections, acceptably “moderate” terrorists vs. evil “extremist” terrorists, and a tolerably oppressive regime vs. an intolerably oppressive regime).
Here’s another horrific idea from the Zionist Western kleptocracy: “Parents whose children got narcolepsy after swine flu jab sue Dutch state” (http://www.dutchnews.nl/news/archives/2016/09/parents-whose-children-got-narcolepsy-after-swine-flu-jab-sue-dutch-state/). The vaccine is called Pandemrix, and it’s made by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), which has a history of bribery, telling glamorous lies and hiding ugly truths in order to sell its drugs, etc. The government authorities approve of GSK, and recommend everyone to be pumped full of drugs and vaccines.
The Zionist US kleptocracy insists its explosive liberations around the world are morally superior, but this is obviously a moral pretext that creates blowback: “USA: Muslim “refugees” – 91.4% on food stamps, 68.3% on Cash Welfare. They have to go back! Illegal immigrants cost us 90 billion dollars in welfare subsidies!” (http://investmentwatchblog.com/usa-muslim-refugees-91-4-on-food-stamps-68-3-on-cash-welfare-they-have-to-go-back/). The US regime boasts it is the world leader of capitalism and economic freedom, but it’s domestic and foreign policies create lots of welfare recipients and refugees.
The US regime’s real motive is the creation of a global empire or the elite control of worldwide resources and labor. This requires the breakdown of national sovereignty, cultural autonomy, and individual rights and responsibilities plus the glorification of one-size-fits-all regulations around the world, the mandatory compression of incompatible cultures, economic manipulation by central banksters and its allied cartels, an onerously top-down bureaucracy, and a society where everyone is dependent on the corporate-government regime.
