The rebellious Oregon ranchers minimized the violence to very reasonable levels and initiated ZERO casualties. They want to continue their lives as productive ranchers. There is nothing fundamentally wrong about this. If the Oregon ranchers are causing a major problem, then the US regime should explain it, and then work from there. The US regime has a long history of repeatedly violating treaties against and continuously stealing land from the Native Americans. The burden of proof is on the US regime.
To exacerbate the situation, the US regime has been using covert operations to undermine the rebellious Oregon ranchers: “Harney County Fire Marshall Chris Briels resigned after discovering undercover FBI agents posing as trouble-making militia members near the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, which has been the site of a standoff for weeks now” (http://www.activistpost.com/2016/01/oregon-fire-chief-catches-fbi-agents-posing-as-militia-quits-his-job-in-protest.html). This is called a red-flag incident. It’s probably just the beginning. Things could easily escalate.
While the US regime accuses the rebellious Oregon ranchers of being criminals, the US regime and its allies and partners (e.g., Turkey, Israel, & Saudi Arabia) support global terrorists in Syria in order to overthrow Syria’s Assad regime. The US regime has given at least hundreds of millions of dollars of military equipment, military training, and other aid. The US regime politically recognizes the multinational terrorists at Syria as the de facto government in Syria or at least as the upcoming successor. The US regime’s mainstream media constantly excretes propaganda in favor of the “moderate” terrorists at Syria.
So far, the “moderate” terrorists at Syria have shot up and blown up entire towns and cities: “Concrete Wasteland: Drone buzzes devastated Damascus neighborhood” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlkbk0vybp4). The so-called freedom fighters at Syria steal humanitarian aid and other stuff from the Syrian civilians, and then sell them back at ridiculously inflated prices: “Inside Besieged Madaya: ‘Militants sold us 1 kg of rice for $250’”
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGDFwRaxK3M). These criminal acts are in addition to threatening, assaulting, torturing, raping, enslaving, and murdering Syrian civilians. The “good” terrorists at Syria steal oil and sell them at discounted prices to NATO-member Turkey and NATO’s spoiled child Israel. This is the ugly truth about the US regime’s war on terror: it is a proxy war to install proxy rebels and proxy governments all over the planet.
According to the Zionist US kleptocracy of liberal-guilt peddlers and Zionist Christian’s God complex, the Oregon ranchers (who are reasonable people) are criminal rebels, but the multinational terrorists (who are bloodthirsty throwbacks) at Syria are good rebels. This is another example of cherry-picked morality, double standards, and moral pretexts by the US regime. In reality, the insatiable US regime wants to wipe out independent communities, or convert everyone into becoming obedient zombies and complacent drones.
The bigger stories here are the problems caused by cultural Marxism, one-size-fits-all solutions, forcing different cultures to operate under a single lifestyle, overpopulation, resource depletion, waste and pollution accumulation, consumerism gone wild, unctuous and/or outdated governments, central banks and economics that are based on fake science, different preferences regarding the extent of private property vs. public property, etc. The world needs more effective, more efficient, and more diverse solutions for society to advance forward in terms of technological progress, quality-of-life improvements, individual and community justice, genuine diversity of options or different lifestyles for different communities, political and economic efficiency, and other aspects.
